# Can you have a carousel with no buttons on WhatsApp?

Hello, I have a dynamically populated carousel that I want to display in WhatsApp channel, but I only want the image and text, no buttons. However, in the function where I dynamically populate the carousel, I tried to remove the “actions” array of object, and that caused the carousel to not show up at all.

Any help is appreciated, thank you.

Hey Mia,  
I don’t think that’s possible with Carousel on the WhatsApp channel. Instead, I’d suggest using a combination of image and text message nodes.
