When will the user session be considered as 1 session?

One of our clients had a query. If the user is inactive and doesn’t close the page. Will that particular session be closed? Is there any timeout for the same to calculate.

(Or)

If the user keeps the tab open for the entire day (24 hrs) without interacting, will that be considered as a single session?

Yes, 24 hr window is one session.
Session duration is the average time spent by the users conversing with the bot.
A session lasts for 24 hours, during which any number of user interactions of a user are considered as one single session.
