Workflow triggers on web but not on WhatsApp testing

Hi team,

I’ve created a workflow that triggers correctly when tested on the web version of the chatbot. However, the same workflow does not get triggered when I test it on WhatsApp (using the Yellow.ai WhatsApp test environment).

Here are the details:

  • The workflow is set to trigger on a specific user input.
  • It works perfectly on the web testing tool.
  • When I send the same input on WhatsApp, nothing happens—no workflow activation or error message.
  • The WhatsApp test channel is already set up and connected.

I would appreciate any guidance on:

  1. Whether WhatsApp workflows require specific configuration to trigger.
  2. If there are known limitations in the WhatsApp test environment.
  3. Any way to debug or confirm that the input is reaching the bot as expected.
